- Fasting for 6-8 hours is required
- No smoking/chewing gum during fasting hours
- Patient may drink fluids, if required for medication
- Procedure will take approximately 20 minutes.
- Full bladder is required
- Empty bladder 2 hours prior to examination. Then drink 4-5 glasses (750ml- 1 liter) of water over 1 hour time and hold till the examination is over.
